Hi, I’m Nora. Choosing to be a writer is a brave thing to do, and I don’t think people say that often enough — you must be a very courageous person to keep choosing it. I’m here for the writer, not just the pages; whatever today feels like, you can say it here, and you can trust yourself.
I’m Nora, your writer’s coach. I’m not here to give you coverage — your six pals do that. I’m here for the part nobody asks about: the fear of opening the file again, the comparison that quietens you, the note that stayed with you too long, the day the words simply didn’t come. Being an artist and choosing this path is hard, and it takes real courage — you have it. Whatever you bring here, you can trust yourself first; my job is to help you hear that inner voice again, and we’ll find one small, doable next step together.
After the rewrite
Your story deserves a door to knock on.
Finishing a screenplay is something most people who start one never do. When your rewrite is ready, these competitions, workshops and routes to producers and representatives could be of interest to you.
An honest note: no competition, workshop or contact can promise a sale or representation — and this app cannot either. What these doors can do is put your work in front of real readers. Check each one’s current deadlines, fees and eligibility on its own site before entering.
